How to Block Tables for Online Reservations?
You can block restaurant tables instantly from the Table Manager by clicking the ⊘ icon and choosing Selected Tables.
Blocking feature enhancement: You can now also create recurring blocking!
Blocking tables from Floor View

- From the Table Manager Floor View, click ⊘ at the top right side, and select Selected tables.
- Select the tables or room/s you'd like to block. Once done, overview of the selected tables to block will appear right the
- Check the box beside it if you want to block the tables in an entire room.
- Click the dropdown arrow to expand the list of tables in that room, and select the tables you'd like to block.
- Choose online reservations, in-house or both, and if it's a one-time blocking or recurring.
- One -time blocking means reservations are blocked from a specified start date and time until the specified end date and time.
- Recurring blocking means blocking a selected day and specific time range on a repeating schedule, so that no new bookings or reservations can be made during that period.
- Click Block Tables. Below it, you will see any active blocking rules that apply to the date you’re currently viewing.
Blocking tables from Availability section
- From the left sidebar in the Table Manager, go to Availability > Block hours > Block new hours.
- Choose the block type one-time, recurring or both, and online, in-house or menus.
- To block tables or room, click Add or manage tables. If you don't click and set up this option, the entire restaurant will be blocked during that period. Selected tables would appear just above the same button.
- Check the box beside it if you want to block the tables in an entire room.
- Click the dropdown arrow to expand the list of tables in that room, and select the tables you'd like to block.
- If you want most of the tables blocked, and just a few ones available, check the box for Select all, and then click the highlighted tables to unselect it.
- Click Select tables, then Block new hours to finish the process.

Deleting a Blocking Rule
You can remove a blocking rule from either Floor View or Block hours under Availability section.
- Simply click ⊘ from the Table Manager, and the trash bin beside the active blocking rule entry you want to delete.
From the Table Manager, go to Availability > Block hours, and then click the 3 dots of the blocking entry you'd like to remove. Click Delete blocked hours. 
To disable a table for online reservations permanently or a long period of time with no specific end date, disable online reservations from Floor Configuration.
While your availability updates appear in real-time on the Eat app widget, please note that it may take 8 to 24 hours for these changes to reflect on Google Reserve if integration is active.
