How to enable the 3D floor view in the Eat App widget

Eat App now supports 3D virtual tours powered by Matterport, allowing you to link your venue’s interactive floor view directly inside your widget.

Before you begin:

Please message Eat App support to enable the 3D floorplan field on your account. You must
do this before you can add your Matterport ID.

Here’s how to set it up:

1. Step 1: Copy your Matterport ID

Each Matterport tour comes with a unique URL like this:
https://my.matterport.com/show/?m=yR48iLMNx4K

Your Matterport ID is the part after ?m=. In this case, the ID is yR48iLMNx4K.

This ID is always 11 characters long and comprises letters and numbers.

Step 2: Paste the Matterport ID in the Preference form

a. Go to the Availability section in the Eat App admin panel and click on ‘Preferences’.
b. Select the preference (or create a new one) for which you want to show the 3D view.
c. Scroll down to the Matterport ID field and paste your copied ID.

Step 3: Done! The virtual tour appears in the widget.

Once saved, the 3D virtual tour will appear automatically!

Note: If your widget is embedded in an iframe, you’ll see a “View Virtual Tour” button instead.
Clicking it will open the full widget page where the 3D tour will be displayed.
