From left side dashboard click **Availability,** then **Pre-paymen**t. ![Prepayment](https://restaurant.eatapp.co/hs-fs/hubfs/Mitos%20New%20Upload%20for%20KB/Prepayment.png?width=688&height=441&name=Prepayment.png) This page will allow you to create custom payment rules which you can later attach to a specific shift or events/preferences.   **You will need to provide the following information:** 1. Name: The name of this payment rule (eg: $10 deposit for Friday Brunch) 2. Amount: The amount you want to charge for this payment rule 3. Minimum number of reservation covers: Set a minimum party size for which payment is required. For example, if you set this to 6, groups of 6 or more will need to pre-pay or provide card details to make a reservation, If you want payment details regardless of party size, set this to 0. 4. Rule Type: There are three rule types that you can select for payment rules 1. Lump: A lump amount attached to every booking made with this payment rule 2. Per Cover: An amount required per cover associated with the reservation 3. Package: The user has to pay the amount attached to the selected package 5. Charge Type: There are three charge types that you can select for payment rules 1. Pre-authorize and capture when I want (expires after 6 days) but capture payment immediately if booking is in the past or after 7 days. 2. Pre-authorize and capture when I want (expires after 6 days) 3. Capture immediately. 6. Terms of the payment: Any terms and conditions you want to communicate to the guest through SMS and Email 7. Auto Cancellation Period: How much time you provide your guests before canceling the reservation if they haven't paid 8. Payment Type: Set to "Yes" if you want the payment to be charged per cover. Set to "No" if you prefer the charge per reservation. 9. Payment Per Countable Field: These payment rules can then be assigned to any shift or events/preferences you created.
