Timeline is a quick way for restaurant operators to assess [which tables are reserved](https://restaurant.eatapp.co/knowledge/managing-reservations-1), at what time, and for [how long](https://restaurant.eatapp.co/knowledge/table-labels). This makes it easier for restaurant operators to fit in [last minute reservations](https://restaurant.eatapp.co/knowledge/creating-reservations) and [walk-ins](https://restaurant.eatapp.co/knowledge/seating-guests) without [double booking](https://restaurant.eatapp.co/knowledge/reservation-conflicts).   Timeline's graphical interface makes it very easy to notice when two bookings overlap, and just in case that isn't enough, our [reservation conflict warnings](https://restaurant.eatapp.co/knowledge/reservation-conflicts) will make it abundantly clear.   In addition to this, Timeline is also an easy-to-use method to [create reservations](https://restaurant.eatapp.co/knowledge/creating-reservations) on the fly with pre-populated table and time data.
