Getting started with POS integration in Eat App

Eat app integrates with your Point-of-sale to help you track guest spend, order history & a lot more

1. Why should you connect your POS to Eat App?

By connecting your POS to Eat App, you can 

  • Automatically open POS tickets when you seat your guests 
  • Automatically have your reservation status updated to 'Finished' when bill is settled
  • Automatically have your  POS tickets liked to the corresponding reservations. So that you can
    • Identify High spenders, VIPs by tracking guests' spending
    • Know your guests' order history to serve them better
    • Segment your guests based on spending pattern
    • Send personalized marketing messages based on their most ordered item
    • Award loyalty points for every Rupee (Dollar, Euro, etc) spent at your venue
    • Reward guests based on their spend milestones

3. How to connect to your POS? 

Step 1 : 

Login to your Eat App account at app.eatapp.co

Step 2:

On the side bar, click on Integrations -> POS

If you need help connecting, please contact support@eatapp.co 

Step 3:

Click on your POS from the list and enter the required key(s) in the form provided.

If you're not sure about the key, reach out to your POS partner. They will know 

4. How to automatically update reservation status to 'Finished' when bill is settled?

Step 1: Login to your Eat app account via app.eatapp.co

Step 2: On the side bar, locate Automation Suite inside Messaging 

 

Step 3:  Create a new automation rule with the following  configuration
