If this step is necessary, you’ll see a notification in the Limits panel inside WhatsApp Manager under the “Overview” tab. You’ll also receive an INCREASED_CAPABILITIES_ELIGIBILITY_NEED_MORE_INFO webhook alert. Make sure your information is accurate, as Meta uses it to determine whether you’re eligible for a higher messaging tier.

3. Reach 1,000 Business-Initiated Conversations in 30 Days

To trigger an automatic review for a higher tier, you must initiate at least 1,000 business conversations within a rolling 30-day window. How WhatsApp Message Limit Auto-Scaling Works

Once your business number reaches the 1,000 daily business-initiated conversation limit, Meta automatically evaluates whether you're eligible for a higher messaging tier. This evaluation happens every time you open a new business-initiated conversation and is based on three key criteria:

1. Your WhatsApp business number is connected and active.

2. Your quality rating is either Medium or High.

3. In the past 7 days, you’ve initiated at least half of your current messaging limit in new conversations (e.g., if your limit is 10,000, you must have opened 5,000+ business-initiated conversations).

If your number meets all of these conditions, Meta will automatically increase your messaging limit by one level after 24 hours.

For example: if your current limit is 1,000 and you open 500 new business-initiated chats in a week with a Medium or High quality rating, your limit will scale up to the next tier automatically within 24 hours.

However, if your quality rating has been marked as Flagged for 7 consecutive days, your limit will be reduced by one tier immediately.

How can I keep my messages high quality?

Here are a few tips on how you can do this: 

1) Use personalization in your messages. Make sure you refer to the customer name, mention why is relevant to them, and make sure it's relevant to a customer's previous visit (example snippet from your message; "We hope you enjoyed your [purchased item] last time you visited us in [last visit date]"). 

2) Avoid sending the same information to the same guest more than once. They are much more likely to mark you as spam if they receive the same information more than once. 

3) Stick to 1 promotion -- Do not promote multiple offers in one message as customers will get confused and the interaction rate will drop (a big determining factor in quality is a button, link clicks, and replies on your message).

4) Add a 'Reply OPT OUT to stop receiving messages like this from us' option in your messages.
